Forcibly Involved

Forcibly Involved is a project memorializing the names of children killed on and since October 7, 2023, on both sides of the border, without differences of nationality, and with the belief that every child has a name, a life that has been, and dreams cut short, and that we must remember this.
Karim Abu Shamala
Karim Abu Shamala (9), was here, and not anymore. He dreamed of becoming a screenwriter. He managed to appear in several music video clips, and began experimenting with narration. He was killed ten days before his birthday he dreamed of.
Obada Abu Oda
Obada Abu Oda (14), was here, and not anymore. A resident of Al Shati refugee camp. Participated in the Hands Up project, and wrote a poem that is currently on display in an exhibition in England: I always dream of a life clear as the serenity of the sky, And a heart beating with love and optimism... Why our smiles do not bloom like the flowers?! Let us fly freely as those butterflies... Satisfied, colourful and flapping sky-high, away from worries, anxieties and sorrows. Killed in a bombing.
Youssef Mahna
Youssef Mahna (less than a year old), was here, and not anymore. Along with his mother Rond.
Alma, Mohammad, and Yousef Ahmed Jamal Mousa
Alma (5), Mohammad (7), and Yousef (1) Ahmed Jamal Mousa, were here, and not anymore. Brothers and sister. Were here along with the parents.
Betul Al-Hassani
Betul Al-Hassani (8), was here, and not anymore. Loved animals and painting. Not long before she was killed she was rescued from the ruins in the Al Shati refugee camp. The family then moved to centeral Gaza Strip, where she was killed.
Adyan Al-Far'a
Adyan Al-Far'a (13), was here, and not anymore. The youngest girl in the family, and very close to her sisters Rusul and Tuka. Energetic, loves to be photographed. On October 25, 2023 Tuka was supposed to get married and leave her parents' home. Adyan was afraid of the separation. On October 25 the house was bombed and Adyan, in the arms of her sister Tuka, was killed.
Youssef, Alma, and Muhammad Ahmed Kamal Abu Musa
Youssef (less than a year old), Alma (4), and Muhammad (6) Ahmed Kamal Abu Musa, were here, and not anymore. Killed along with their parents and cousins Kamal (6), Sila (4), Bahaa (less than a year).

Islam Al Jazar
Islam Al Jazar (2.5), was here, and not anymore. Born on the first day of Operation Guardian of the Walls. His body was pulled from the rubble only after 3 days.
Sara Hasouna
Sara Hasouna (15), was here, and not anymore. Along with her family members. Loved geography and history and dreamed of traveling the world.
