Forcibly Involved

Forcibly Involved is a project memorializing the names of children killed on and since October 7, 2023, on both sides of the border, without differences of nationality, and with the belief that every child has a name, a life that has been, and dreams cut short, and that we must remember this.

Yazan Zacharia Abu Jamaa
Yazan Zacharia Abu Jamaa (5), was here, and not anymore. A direct hit by a rocket.

Yonatan and Yiftah Kotz
Yonatan (16) and Yiftah (14) Kotz, were here, and not anymore. Brothers. Were here along with parents Aviv and Livnat and sister Rotem (19). Hugged each other, all of them together, at their death. Both brothers played basketball.

Tomer Eliez Arava
Tomer Eliez Arava (17), was here, and not anymore. Tomer stayed in Nahal Oz with his mother Dikla, her husband from a second marriage and his daughters. A live broadcast put on by the Hamas terrorists revealed what happened in the house: Tomer was taken to knock on his neighbors' doors and entice them to open, after which he was shot and killed. His mother Dikla and her partner Noam were also shot. Noam's daughters were kidnapped, and were released in a deal.

Ruth Hodaya Peretz
Ruth Hodaya Peretz (17), was here, and not anymore. Ruth suffered from muscular dystrophy and cerebral palsy. Her father Arik, used to take her to nature parties which she loved. The Nova party, near kibbutz Re'im, the father carries Ruth and they escape. The wheelchair was left behind as was the bullet-riddled family car. The father's body was identified after 13 days.

Alina Weisberg
Alina Weisberg (17), was here, and not anymore. A 12th grade student from Be'er-Sheva, went out with her partner and other friends for a holiday weekend at Zikim beach. When the attack began, she hid in the beach lavatory with other Israelis, where she was killed.

Raphael Meir Maskelchi
Raphael Meir Maskelchi (12), was here, and not anymore. Was here along with his father. Killed by a rocket strike.

Mila Cohen
Mila Cohen (10 months old), was here, and not anymore. Was here along with her father Ohad and her grandmother Yona.

Matan Rosenberg
Matan Rosenberg (17), was here, and not anymore. Musician, active in the Boys Scouts. Dreamed of becoming a psychologist. Killed in the attack on the nature party.

Amin Akal Alkra’an
Amin Akal Alkra’an (10), was here, and not anymore. Killed by a direct hit of a rocket, while playing in the yard of his grandmother's shack.

Carmel Bachar
Carmel Bachar (15), was here, and not anymore. Carmel loved rap, tiktok, excersizing in the gym, surfing the sea, hosting friends for BBQ. He collected knives and wanted to protect his family members. Mortally wounded he bled to death by the side of his mother Dina who was also killed. In the many hours awaiting rescue, his last words to his sister were a request to be buried with his surfboard.

Noya Dan
Noya Dan (12), was here, and not anymore. A girl with special needs, and great affection for Harry Potter. She just started a new school and a new house in kibbutz Kisufim. She was staying with Grandma Carmela. They were killed together.

Nadav Yosef Hai Taib
Nadav Yosef Hai Taib (17), was here, and not anymore. From Beit Shikma. Killed at Zikim Beach where he went fishing with friends.
