Forcibly Involved

Forcibly Involved is a project memorializing the names of children killed on and since October 7, 2023, on both sides of the border, without differences of nationality, and with the belief that every child has a name, a life that has been, and dreams cut short, and that we must remember this.

Walid Youssef Abu Jazar
Walid Youssef Abu Jazar (10), was here, and not anymore. Injured in a bombing several days ago and today died of his wounds.

Islam Abu Shamla
Islam Abu Shamla (14), was here, and not anymore. Killed by gunfire targeting tents sheltering displaced people, together with her brother Abdullah (29), who had raised her since their mother was killed in 2014. Their sister Lana was seriously injured. Mohannad, another brother, was murdered by gunfire at one of the food distribution centers in 2025. Their brother Siraj was left alone.

Ahmed Jabari
Ahmed Jabari (16), was here, and not anymore. Shot to death at the entrance to a grocery store.

Ahmed Mohsen Al-Raqab
Ahmed Mohsen Al-Raqab (12), was here, and not anymore. Killed in an airstrike.

Raghad Hussein Ashour
Raghad Hussein Ashour (17), was here, and not anymore. Killed in the bombing of a vehicle while on her way to her high school matriculation exam.

Rida Sami Hussein Awad
Rida Sami Hussein Awad (15), was here, and not anymore. Shot dead after allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail at a colony.

Julia Khaled Dawoud al-Balawi
Julia Khaled Dawoud al-Balawi (8), was here, and not anymore. Killed while visiting her grandfather.

Ali and Muhammad Hassan Ismail Khalil
Ali and Muhammad Hassan Ismail Khalil, were here, and not anymore. Killed in an airstrike together with their parents, Hassan and Israa.

Zeina and Lana al-Safadi
Zeina (4) and Lana (14) al-Safadi, were here, and not anymore. Killed in the bombing of their home.

Haidar Hussein Khudair
Haidar Hussein Khudair, was here, and not anymore. Killed together with his parents, Hussein and Zahraa.

Mohammad Kalaaji
Mohammad Kalaaji, was here, and not anymore. He was killed in an airstrike together with his mother, Batoul, and his grandparents, Adnan and Hiyam.

Mohammad Mustafa Al-Jarmaqi
Mohammad Mustafa Al-Jarmaqi, was here, and not anymore. A high school student. Killed in an airstrike.
