Forcibly Involved

Forcibly Involved is a project memorializing the names of children killed on and since October 7, 2023, on both sides of the border, without differences of nationality, and with the belief that every child has a name, a life that has been, and dreams cut short, and that we must remember this.

Ahmed and Imad Abdo
Ahmed and Imad Abdo, were here, and not anymore. Brothers.

Tlaa Abu Ajwa
Tlaa Abu Ajwa (9), was here, and not anymore. Started rollerblading, inspired by another girl who uploaded a video about how skating helps her deal with fear. Went out for skating and was killed.

Lujin Maslah
Lujin Maslah (16), was here, and not anymore. Israeli forces besieged a house near her home. She peeked out the window and was shot in the head. She bled to death for an hour and a half, because ambulances were denied access.

Mohammed Kna'an
Mohammed Kna'an (15), was here, and not anymore. He went up to the roof at his brother's house were he was visiting, to observe and record a military raid. Shot in the head by a sniper. His father was injured. His body could be recovered safely only after 8 hours.

Yasmin Alisar
Yasmin Alisar, was here, and not anymore.

Majed and Mona Zakkout
Majed (4) and Mona (2) Zakkout, were here, and not anymore. Brother and sister. Their bodies were pulled from the rubble after 72 hours.

Ismail al-Mashrawi
Ismail al-Mashrawi, was here, and not anymore. Injured in the bombing of a school in Khan Yunis, where displaced persons took shelter. Died of his wounds.

Aida Musa Alshtali
Aida Musa Alshtali, was here, and not anymore.

Basmallah Farwana
Basmallah Farwana (10), was here, and not anymore. She was killed while hugging and reassuring her brother 'Imad who was afraid of the bombings.

Rafah Abu Sawara
Rafah Abu Sawara (3), was here, and not anymore. Died of fear (her heart stopped in panic) when her home in west Nuseirat refugee camp was bombed. Her sister was killed.

Hadi Hussam Al-Dabbaka
Hadi Hussam Al-Dabbaka (1.83), was here, and not anymore.

Lana Shaqura
Lana Shaqura (15), was here, and not anymore. Shot by a sniper.
