Forcibly Involved

Forcibly Involved is a project memorializing the names of children killed on and since October 7, 2023, on both sides of the border, without differences of nationality, and with the belief that every child has a name, a life that has been, and dreams cut short, and that we must remember this.

Sara Abu Amer
Sara Abu Amer (6), was here, and not anymore.

Kinda and Yazid Hanam
Kinda (4) and Yazid (1.5) Hanam, were here, and not anymore. Sister and brother. Were here along with their mother.

Amr Al-Tarturi
Amr Al-Tarturi (15), was here, and not anymore. Injured by shrapnel in Nuseirat refugee camp, and was in a coma for 14 days. Died of his wounds.

Farah Hatem Abu Madein
Farah Hatem Abu Madein, was here, and not anymore. Dreamed of being a physician. Loved cars.

Faik and Bader Al Baid
Faik (10) and Bader (8) Al Baid, were here, and not anymore. Brothers. Were here along with parents Hawida and Marzouk. Hawida lost all her children in the Gaza war of 2008 (Operation Cast lead). 5 years later Faik was born followed by Bader. Faik had special needs, gentle and shy. Bader loved scientific experiments and football.

Ismail Al-Nunu
Ismail Al-Nunu (3), was here, and not anymore. Nicknamed "The Little Crowned One". Suffered greatly from hunger. Killed in his grandfather's arms.

Mona Al-Nunu
Mona Al-Nunu (2), was here, and not anymore. Was here along with her little brother Ismail. Killed in her mother's arms.

Azmi Muhammad Abu Al-Shaar
Azmi Muhammad Abu Al-Shaar (10), was here, and not anymore. He was killed in the bombing of his home, and his body was not recovered. Among the rubble was his cell phone, and after it was recharged, his will was found: "I feel I don't have much time left. God will bear witness that I loved you all." Gaza City.
Zain and Hatem Al-Rabie
Zain (4) and Hatem (6) Al-Rabie, were here, and not anymore. Were here along with their mother.

Ezz Al-Rabie
Ezz Al-Rabie (7), was here, and not anymore. Was here along with his parents, aunt, and cousins.

Nada Abu Hamada
Nada Abu Hamada (4), was here, and not anymore. Dr. Nadi was her nickname, for her curiosity and maturity. She was killed along with her father, brother, grandparents, uncle and aunt. Her mother survived.

Sarah Maqdad
Sarah Maqdad (13), was here, and not anymore.
